So, the prints are done, the final 3 big 20X30" ones are being matted up and all systems are go! This exhibition, features only well known acts, 10 from JJJ's Hottest 100 of all time, one act who's sold 145 million albums, some Australian chamipons and a few characters, But to find out who made the cut you'll have to come along or look out for the preview in the Examiner just before the launch date. All the prints are being sold mounted and matted, ready to frame, and they are being priced conservatively, so that people who are fans of music, not just art can afford to buy. Here's a recap:

Brand New Era - Scott Gelston's first exhibition, featuring some of the finest musical faces on the planet.
October 22- November 18th
Bue Cafe, Inveresk (Launceston)

  • Listening to: Pavement - Brighten the Corners
  • Reading: Nil

I'm a Photojournalist with The Examiner newspaper in Northern Tasmania. [link]
I'm heavily into Rock and Roll Photography but am gaining a love of all things sporting during my travels with the paper.
This site features Images taken over the last 6 Years, on a variety of Film and Digital SLRs as well as some compact digitals, with the photoshop work of each image reflecting my skills at the time. Currently I am archiving my Music Portfolio and Re-Editing ready for public enjoyment.
P.s I'm the one on the left....
